Prime Minister Hun Sen, speaking at the Mekong- Japan Business Forum in Tokyo on October 9, invited Japanese firms to visit Cambodia and convince themselves that it a worthy country for their investments.
He told prospective Japanese investors of the policies and potentials of Cambodia, and that the Kingdom is open to economic expansion due to its political stability and national security.
The premier said that the Cambodian government welcomes all foreign investors, especially those from Japan.
“I recommend that Japanese investors who have not yet visited Cambodia to do so. Explore its potential and opportunities. Then hopefully invest there and take advantage of the significant assistance provided by the Japanese Government.”
He reaffirmed the Cambodian government’s commitment to ensuring an attractive investment climate with peace, security, and political and macro-economic stability under a legal and institutional framework that is effective, transparent, accountable and predictable.
